I want just to say as an Epic Game user (Who got City: Skylines and many other games for free!) and a user of many different storefronts steamworkshopdownloader. You can also find mods related to a game by checking for the 'Community-made Mods' section on its store page. I believe that those mods are in casheĬould you make your work open-source (if possible) so that there will be more sites which makes it harder (if it is true that valve is maually banning your account) for Valve to play cat and mouse so that this service will stay avalible as long as possible. Many games support mods through the Steam Workshop, where you can easily browse for new content and have it automatically appear in your game. Some of City: Skylines mods still work (as of 12:16AM GMT) but only if you dont batch download and only with some (Popular) mods. That is a feature for paying customers only. Mabe you can work with the author of steamworkshop.download and share the cashe every so often or work something between each other. No, you must own the game on Steam to be eligible to access workshop mods. editing anything you want without it being overwritten the next time you launch (since it will think it's outdated or something and 'fix' the files back).
It's always better to have further control over the mods, ex. There is a alternative website that works steamworkshop.download which people can use to download mods in the meantime, however there isnt a Tampermoney plugin (that works) which is kinda unfortunate or a batch download □ (Mabe someone make one). I personally always prefer direct download & installation rather than Steam Workshop, only allowing some smaller mods through it.
